JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a motivated Assistant Cook to join their kitchen team in Meiran, Lagos. The role involves supporting the head chef in daily food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring high standards of culinary service. This is an entry‑level position offering accommodation and meals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to recipes.
- Ensure kitchen stations are clean and organized.
- Monitor stock levels of supplies and report shortages.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support senior chefs during busy service periods.
- Help with plating and presentation of dishes.
- Maintain proper storage of food items.
