JOB SUMMARY:
Our client requires a skilled Baker to prepare a variety of baked goods for customers in the Ojota area of Lagos. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards and ensuring timely production.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare doughs, batters, and other bakery products according to recipes.
- Operate ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment safely.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality.
- Decorate and finish baked items for presentation.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and place orders as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery.
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations.
- Assist in developing new product ideas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a bakery environment.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredient handling.
- Ability to work early hours and stand for long periods.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients.
