Cook/Chef (Meiran)

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Cook to join a restaurant in Meiran, Lagos. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare quality meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply; however, applicants without formal experience but who are confident in their cooking skills are also welcome. Candidates who can prepare continental and intercontinental dishes will have an added advantage, while those skilled in preparing Nigerian/local dishes are also encouraged to apply. • Prepare and cook meals according to restaurant standards. • Ensure food is prepared on time and presented attractively. • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and cooking equipment. • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations. • Properly store food items and ingredients. • Monitor ingredient levels and report items that need replenishment. • Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently. • Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. 💎 Accommodation Available

• Previous experience as a Cook / Chef • Ability to prepare Nigerian/local dishes is required. • Knowledge of continental and intercontinental cuisine is compulsory for chef and an added advantage for cook • Good personal hygiene and attention to cleanliness. • Ability to work on a shift schedule. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Good teamwork and communication skills. • Male and female candidates are welcome to apply.
